FullerLong secured permission for a residential development of 3 detached properties in Wakefield, where the client had failed on several previous attempts on highways safety concerns.

Despite the proposed number of dwellings failing to meet local planning guidance, FullerLong’s highways consultant successfully demonstrated in his Transport Statement, that given the limited scale and nature proposed, the development would not have any greater impact in highways terms when compared with what could be achieved with 5 larger houses on this site. FullerLong’s approach was also supported by national guidance which added weight to the argument.

With clear evidence that the proposal would cause no demonstrable harm the application was subsequently granted approval by the Council, providing relief for our client after a history of refusals.
